As you know, under applicable legislation, Peppol is mandatory when you have a Belgian VAT number and invoice ProUnity. In this case, you are now required to send your invoices to ProUnity via Peppol. That’s why you will find below the important changes this implies:
-
You can still benefit from the Fast payment option, with payment within 5 business days:
- Mention your Fast Payment request on your invoice. Most Peppol invoicing platforms provide a dedicated field for this, often labelled “discount”.
- Apply the usual 3% discount in favour of ProUnity to the total invoice amount, so your invoice is paid within 5 business days of receipt.
- As Peppol is now the sole invoicing channel:
- You no longer need to send your invoice by email.
- You may no longer use the ProUnity VMS invoicing module.
- Your previous invoices remain available for consultation on the ProUnity platform.
