Do I have to use Peppol?

As part of the European digitalisation initiative, Peppol e-invoicing has become mandatory.

However, this obligation does not apply to everyone. Depending on your situation, one of the following scenarios will apply:

1. You invoice from outside Belgium and do not use a Belgian VAT number
   • The Peppol obligation does not apply to you.
   • Your current invoicing process remains valid.
2. You work through Staffing MS
   • Nothing changes.
   • You can continue to use your existing invoicing process.
3. You invoice from a Belgian company to another Belgian company with both a Belgian VAT number
   • You must send your invoices via the Peppol network starting.
   • Please ensure that you prepare your invoicing tools accordingly.
